Public Accounts Committee agree Norfolk & Norwich Hospital PFI is scandalous

Norman Lamb MP, Liberal Democrat Shadow DTI Secretary, who shone the spotlight on the dodgy nature of the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital PFI refinancing deal, has today welcomed Public Accounts Committee Chairman, Edward Leigh MP's comment that this deal was the "unacceptable face of capitalism."

Norman Lamb MP, said:

"I'm delighted the PAC Chairman has reinforced my claim that this is a scandal.

"Patients have suffered and are suffering as a result of the excessive costs of this contract."
