Liberal Democrat Councillor for Thorpe Hamlet Ward, Jeremy Hooke is concerned at the loss of revenue from St Andrew's Hall since the noise levels and opening hours have restricted its use.

Jeremy said "It is not only the loss of revenue but the loss to the city of this wonderful venue.

"There is concern that since the restrictions wedding parties

have been cancelled, Festival events brought to a premature close and a

sense of frustration that one of the glories of Norwich is under-utilised.

I would like to know what has been the financial consequences of these

restrictions."

"I will be asking the following question of the Executive at Tuesday's full

council meeting:

'What has been the financial impact on the income generated by St Andrew`s

Hall since the restrictions on noise levels and opening hours came into

effect compared with previous years?'
